Welcome

The Rose and Crown, with its Mock Tudor appearance, is one of the most striking pubs in Beverley. With more than 400 years of history to its name, the hostelry has remained in its current location while the world around it has altered dramatically.
Situated just off the Westwood Pasture, it is an ideal place to start off a day at the Races; with the racecourse only a short walk away.
The pub is traditional in decor, with a real log fire: sufficient to warm the cockles of any weary traveller during the winter months.
The food is a mouth watering combination of traditional English fare and Turkish delicacies.
The pub is split into two rooms, with the back room containing a pool table and facilities for live music.
The front room is more oriented to sitting and dining.
The beers available are enough to satisfy all tastes with hand pulled cask ales available at all times; as well as a rich array of ciders, lagers, spirits and wines. Please get in touch to enquire as to what is currently  on offer. You will be sure to receive a warm Yorkshire welcome from the staff.

Food

Our food is an unusual mix of English and Turkish. This colourful combination of cuisine has been due to the arrival as Landlord of Erol Celik, who was born in Turkey before moving to England some years ago.

Only fresh ingredients of the highest quality are used in the dishes prepared. Specials are offered on a daily basis, and we invite any prospective diners to ring or contact us via the online form in order to be told the specials for the day.
